Our fishing boat is a 22 ft Cape Horn flats center console boat restored in 2018 with a 2021 Yamaha 150 HP outboard motor. She will accommodate up to 4 adults, we do allow 5 guests if there are 3 or 4 children in your group. Captain David has over 20 years of Fishing Experience in the Destin, FL area which includes 12+ years as a Professional Guide. With the knowledge from his experience, he will take you to the hottest fishing spots in the area. Emerald Coast Bay Charters offers a variety of fishing trip options. Charter Rates vary depending on the time of year. If you're interested in booking a fishing charter please go to the Book Fishing Charter page. You can also call or email Captain David for your charter rate and availability. 850-685-6860. Fishing Trips range from 3 to 6 hours for morning or afternoon. We also offer 2-hour mid-morning / afternoon trips for those with young children under the age of 12. Fishing License, Ice, Bait, Tackle, and Fish Cleaning with Ziploc Freezer Bags are included in all trips.
All major credit cards are accepted with a 3% fee. We also accept Cash or Check. 15 to 20% Tip is always greatly appreciated.
Targeted Fish Species vary throughout the year, but our Inshore Bay Fishing Charters mainly target Red Fish, Speckled Sea Trout, and Spanish Mackerel.

Emerald Coast Bay Charters fishing boat is equipped with a tower for sight fishing Cobia, Bull Reds and Tarpon during certain times of the year and is very helpful for locating bait. Our charter boat is also equipped with a 2021 Yamaha 150 4 stroke, Garmin GPS, and Quantum tackle. We offer 3, 4, 5 and 6-hour trips for inshore fishing, flats fishing, and near shore gulf fishing. We also offer 2-hour afternoon kids trips that are catch and release.

The weather threw us a curve ball, but David was able to improvise because of his knowledge of the area we were fishing. It was obvious that he does a lot of scouting, even on the bait fish. First let me say I love to hunt and fish and paying someone to help do this makes me cringe!!! However if you want to experience inshore fishing at its finest with a true sportsman, than fishing with Captain Dave is what U need to do. This is my second trip with him and I will continue to go back year after year here in Destin. I have gone with my wife and brother and my 13-year-old son. Captain Dave understands and works to meet the needs of whatever you would like to do with regards to fishing. He is going to put you on the fish and you are going to enjoy and have a great time. If you’re looking for someone that’s going to be honest, transparent and deliver on what they say, then he is your guide here on the Emerald Coast.
